Project Description
A wine cellar for over 5,000 bottles was designed in an underground space of 1,500 square feet. Subtle, non-literal references to the world of wine were used as design elements, with abstractions in the use of wood, metal rings and rivets that make up the wine barrels. All cabinets are custom built around a seating area so the space is transformed into a museum showroom environment rather than a storage space. Sparkling and white wines are stored in a glass box, dividing the cellar from the tasting area with a table designed exclusively for this space.
